Oh, this came out beautifully, Birte! It has a lively, wild quality and your sky is very reminiscent of Monet. If blogspot had those "clappy" emoticons, I'd post one now :-)

I dug out my oil pastels today and plan to have some fun with them!

michelle, have a look at the wetcanvas.com oil pastels forum. There are some people who do wonderful pet portraits with them :-) They might even inspire you more than my attempts :-)
